It is mversatile thanks to the accessories sold separately (magnet, suction cup, float, fish bait, ground spike). Perfect for recording underwater world and produce unique sound recordings. Ideal for Sound Design. Its quality connections and precise soldering allow for longevity and optimal sound performance. - MODULABLE : Your hydrophone is supplied with a lead ballast module. Discover and adopt our wide range of existing modules that can be fitted to the microphone: magnet, suction cup, fish bait, ground spike or float. Also compatible with the geophone.
- WATER-RESISTANT : 100% submersible in deep, fresh, salt water, hot or cold (-30°C to +100°C). Capsule and electronics protected by a watertight acoustic gel, which retains maximum frequencies and sensitivity. Airtight design.
- IDEAL FOR RECORDING : Record the underwater world with its eco-design ideal for whales and cetaceans. Record on a variety of surfaces or attract fish to you with our unique accessories.
- SOUND REPRODUCTION : Listen anywhere, thanks to a design that allows a wide dynamic range thanks to its built-in resonator. From 20Hz to 80KHz, record a wide range of sounds. For recording enthusiasts, a super mic!
Not yet having all the equipment to operate it in the best conditions (preamp, field recorder, etc.) for field recording or underwater recording, I tested it with the means at hand just to know if it works. So, a small valve guitar amplifier, a large glass of water and a straw, and it works great, just the sound of air bubbles! I really can't wait to be able to use it with the appropriate equipment. If you buy it, get the complete kit with scrap metal magnet, suction cup, and small spike to use it as a geophone. In short, a really great microphone! Thank you

Very nice mic, I've currently only done a few tests in basins, rivers, I fully intend to do more! Great design, for the moment it seems resistant to me! The sound is quite mind-blowing (talking about its primary function!!) ! I wasn't expecting such a sound, super precise, much brighter than what I expected!
