Our hydrophone is specially designed to last the test of time! Of course, salt water spares nothing! To prolong the use of your hydrophone, don't hesitate to rinse it thoroughly with clean water after each use!

After several years, water can eat away at the plastic and bleach it, so don't worry! The hydrophone is encased in a very thick resin designed to last 25 years!

The end of the hydrophone (mouthpiece) is not watertight! If rust or wear appears on the connector, it is likely that the sound quality will be altered. We recommend changing the connector by cutting 2cm of wire to avoid keeping a rusty part!

Of course, contact us to change the connector if you're not comfortable doing it yourself! We'll repair and replace it as quickly as possible!
