microphones
My microphone doesn't work
Most microphones (except EMF Microphone) need to be amplified upstream. It is therefore not possible to connect it directly to a telephone or computer. To operate the microphone, you need a microphone input on your recorder, mixer or sound card, for example.
amplifier recommendations
Most microphone amplifiers will do the job. The best value for money remains with Zoom or Tascam. Make sure you use the right tip for your microphone!
Sound cards allow the microphone to be connected to a computer using dedicated software.
Mixers (Soundcraft, Makie Yamaha etc...) mostly have a dedicated "mic" input.
There are bulkier smartphone accessories that, with a dedicated application and a few parameters, allow you to operate your microphones. The Smart RIG II being the most popular for the price.
alternative for listening alone
There are also all-in-one speakers that can both amplify and listen to sound directly. Traditional Bluetooth speakers won't work. It is not possible to record directly onto the speaker.
Available for around €30, the " Honeytone "is a small speaker that runs on a 9v battery that I highly recommend for use with the hydrophone at sea.
My microphone crackles
It is likely that interference will be picked up by your microphone. In general, this comes from your surrounding electronic equipment. Your smartphone, a power strip or a place full of ungrounded electronic equipment.
Changing location or deactivating the offending devices can improve the problem.
Since microphones are handmade, they are more sensitive to this kind of interference.
No sound or little sound / murmur
Check that your gain/volume is at maximum.
This is generally a sign that the amplification is not good enough. The weaker the sound, the greater the amplification and, unfortunately, the more expensive the equipment required. Try replacing your amplifier or following the instructions precisely.
Breathlessness also means that you have reached the limits of your amplifier.

Hydrophone information
The hydrophone is designed to withstand water and marine depths. Beware of salt water, which can wear out the equipment much more quickly. Rinse the microphone with clean water after each use, avoiding contact points.
The microphone mouthpiece is not waterproof.

Where is my order?

The dedicated payment platform uses secure services. Most banks and cards are available. Various payment methods are provided: PayPal, CB, VISA, Mastercard, etc.

Delivery times
Delivery times are approximate and may vary depending on weekends and public holidays.
In mainland France, Packages are sent by Colissimo within 24-48 hours.
In French overseas departments and territories, Packages are sent by Colissimo within 7-18 days.
In Europe and the rest of the worldPackages are sent using UPS Express Saver with lead times of 2-4 days in Europe and 2-10 days for the rest of the world.
Packages are dispatched on Tuesdays and Fridays for all orders placed before 8pm French time the previous day.
PLEASE NOTE: Occasionally, delays may be added for customs or border processing in certain countries.
import
Depending on your country (outside Europe), you may have to pay import taxes. The amount depends on your country, which applies a percentage of between 0% and 23% of the total price of the order. This tax is not systematic and depends on the value and country of destination.
VAT
For the moment, products are displayed without VAT, as this is a VAT-exempt self-employed business. Invoices and payments will therefore be notified without VAT.
Colissimo and UPS
Colissimo is La Poste's dedicated parcel delivery service. Parcels are delivered to letterboxes or the nearest post office. AFTER-SALES SERVICE: 3631
UPS is the fastest, most reliable service with the most collection points. Delivery is made to your letterbox address. If you are absent, the parcel will be dropped off at the nearest UPS point. UPS SERVICE: 01 73 00 66 61
Returns and refunds
My microphone is faulty
If your microphone is faulty, contact the Help Centre as soon as possible to find out what has gone wrong. If the fault is confirmed, we will send you a returns label and replace the product as soon as possible.
I'm not happy with the article
Send us the item as soon as possible, within one month, and you will receive a full refund for the order, even if the product is unpacked. Please ensure that you supply all the equipment when returning the item.
I have received the wrong item
As orders are packaged by hand, errors are likely to occur even if every effort is made to avoid them!
Don't worry, contact us and we'll take care of replacing or returning your order as quickly as possible.
I want to cancel my order
Send us a message to cancel the order as soon as possible, and we will do everything in our power to cancel the shipment of the product and refund you as quickly as possible.
I want to repair my microphone
You can also send us a microphone for repair and servicing. This is offered for 2 years after purchase.
